| Description | GAPDH Antibody LS-C187648. Recognizes glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), a 36kD cytoplasmic protein which functions an important enzyme in glycolysis. GAPDH is additionally involved in a number of other cellular processes such as transcription activation, initiation of apoptosis and membrane trafficking. Recognizes human (erythrocyte), rabbit (muscle) and bacterial (B. stearothermophilus and E. coli) GAPDH in ELISA. |
