| Description | Purity >98%. (1S,3R)-RSL3 is a direct inhibitor of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPx4). By inhibiting GPx4 activity, (1S,3R)-RSL3 triggers a lethal accumulation of lipid hydroperoxides and induces ferroptotic cell death (EC50 = 0.01 µM in HRASV12 -expressing cells). It has been shown to prevent tumor growth in xenograft mouse tumor models with particular sensitivity to diffuse large B cell lymphomas and renal cell carcinomas. |
