| Description | Alpha Tubulin Antibody (clone TU-02) LS-C202262. Specificity: TU-02 reacts with alpha-tubulin. Tubulin, the major protein component of microtubule is a heterodimer of two different alpha- and beta-subunits. Tubulin isotypes have been identified and their expression was shown to be tissue specific. Immunocytochemical studies using mAb revealed remarkable heterogeneity of tubulin within various nervous tissue. Source: TU-02 was raised by the hybridoma technique in mice immunized with microtubular protein from pig brain. |
